Callaghans sponsored Treloar Art Lecture November 2009
Callaghans sponsored the Treloar Art Lecture at the end of November again this year. This was a huge success with over 200 people attending. One of the event organisers, Emmy Watt, commented on the support that Callaghans had given the Trust, "thank you all at Callaghans for your support for Treloars - the sponsorship we receive has made a huge difference to us in our fundraising efforts and is very much appreciated. Last year and this year we have been specifically raising money to send young people on outward bound-type holidays with the school. These are hugely popular with the pupils and have a massive effect on individual's confidence and self-belief. The school is normally inundated with requests to go on the trips and there are never enough places as, as you can imagine, the cost per child is extremely high. Our fund raising last year and this year will enable many more children to enjoy the holidays and benefit from them, due in part to your help."
