Murray Wells conquers Brighton Marathon and raises £1600 for Charity

Corporate Partner and seasoned runner, Murray Wells, conquered the Brighton Marathon in style and in an impressive time of 5 hours 2 minutes on Sunday 18th April.

7,589 runners crossed the start line in this, the first ever Brighton Marathon. The runners had good, clear weather for the race, although the lack of breeze and clear blue skies did make it a little hot at times.

Murray raised £1600 for Guide Dogs for the Blind www.guidedogs.org.uk and has already committed to running the race again next year, commenting that the day was "really fantastic".

Murray ran alongside his sister, Heidi, who originally threw down the challenge of running together in a marathon. Heidi ran for Chase Hospice www.chasecare.org.uk raising £3500 for them.
