Experience:

After qualifying, Sonia worked at firms in Essex and Surrey before joining Callaghans in 2003.

She specialises in Residential Property work and bespoke sites for Residential Development. Her experience covers a wide range of transactions including:

• Leasehold and Freehold sales, purchases, mortgages and remortgages
• Site acquisition for development
• Development site set up, splitting sites/titles and plot sales
• Non-contentious lease extensions
• First Registrations of title – both voluntary and compulsory
• Registration of Easements such as for rights of way, rights of drainage etc
• Transfers of Equity, or Transfers between family as “gifts” or at an undervalue
