Experience:

After starting his career as a Litigation Lawyer in Liverpool, Stephen spent 20 years working in the City and central London in commercial based practices. During the late 1990s, in addition to his commercial litigation practice, Stephen oversaw the development of the firm’s personal injury litigation practice, which, along with key staff at the time, moved with him out of London in 1999 to join Jerome O’Callaghan at Callaghans.

Stephen has handled claims ranging from a few thousand pounds through to substantial seven figure actions ranging from County Courts through to the Court of Appeal on three occasions. He enjoys working for clients who are in different businesses, learning what they do and helping them achieve their objectives whether it is resolving a problem without litigation, defending when it is required and attacking on their behalf when it is the right thing to do.

Stephen has acted for clients in connection with banking and insurance related litigation, commercial and contract dispute resolution and litigation, partnership/internal company disputes, professional negligence, personal injury, including complex stress at work claims, property disputes and landlord and tenant disputes.
